Hi Dear Shakela, its lovely to hear from you and thankyou
for your Beautiful Message. I have a problem with both of
my eyes, I have Narrow Angeles which means the fluid has
a problem getting through the iris in my eyes, I had some
Laser Surgery about 3 Weeks ago, and the Specilist Blasted
a small hole in each iris so that there was another channel
for the fluid to come out so there wont be a build up behind my iris which could be potentially serious. he did
have a lot of problems and had to blast it many times because
yes it is a lot harder to do with darker eyes, mine being
Brown and he did think at the time that it wasn't successful
so as you can imagine I was terribly upset about that and
he booked me in for anoter go at it the other day, he decided to check my eyes before putting the numbing drops in before Surgery, and discovered that it had been successful after all, the first time, although the hole the
Laser made was very small he thinks it might just be enough.
Im praying that it will be, he is going to check my eyes again in 2 Months time, so here's hoping that they will be alright!
Forgive me for the long Message as I wanted to explain it all properly I do hope it makes sense to you lol.
I am doing just fine and certainly do believe in the Power
of Prayer! Hugs and Love my dear Friend xoxoxoxoxo Robbie
Melanie asked me the same question just the other day LOL
Here was my reply to her:
(Hope it helps you too)
You asked about how I do some of my lettering.
Most of the time, unless I am using a pre-made alphabet; I use a program called Print Master Platinum 2011.
I think I got it at either Target or Walmart for about $40.
I really like it because not only does it have lots of clip art, the program allows you to import your own graphics also.
But the best thing is the lettering. The program allows you to put "fills" inside the font that you are using. You just upload a texture, background or any kind of graphic and the program places the picture inside the text. From there you can enlarge, shrink or position the fill any way you like.
You can also bevel the text which makes it look raised.
(That's how I do the lettering on my fruit tags).
You can also add drop shadows or different types of outlines to the text.
I didn't know that the program had all the lettering options when I bought the program, so it was a nice surprise :) I had fun playing with it and learning the various options. It also helped that it is fairly user friendly.
